For some more money you could upgrade the driveshafts and halfshafts, but there probably isn't much upgrading available for the tranny and diff. I would estimate about the same power that our stock tranny's can hold...250-300hp if you drive with some sense.

BTW, the Protege5's 2,7XXlb curb weight isn't that heavy. It's just grossly underpowered.
