Can't find a Speed dealer any closer than 5+ hours that has a Black MS3 GT. Was thinking of going to one closer and ordering one. Was wondering what the average wait time from order to delivery have been?

My STi will be sold this week and don't wanna go a long while with no ride. I would have gotten something while having the STi for sale but, can't afford the 600 a month STi payment plus another car.

Give a shout to BSTD3 on this forum. I know he ordered a True Red GT and is expecting it around Feb/March I think.

Why are you getting rid of the STi? I'm thinking about that for my next track car once the new body and car design hits in 09 i think

Cuz its like driving a rock down the road. Road noise is horrendous, not comfortable, too expensive, insurance is expensive. Time to get something cheaper and start saving for a house also.

Its got power and handling.. but thats all its got.

I am in the hunt for one too - let us know what you find out.

if either of you are close enough to delaware to make a trip please PM me - SOON.

I have 2 on the way that were spoken for who have given up their deposit on the incoming vehicles.

cosmic blue gt which is on the ship (due in less than a month) and a True Red Sport to be built next month which might be able to be changed if I hurry up.

Eh, i'm in Mississippi so.. delaware is outta the question unless it'd be a dealer trade in. I'll continue to look around here.. i've got 4 dealers around me that claim they have cars at port and on the water.

Ordering now that I see that its gonna take 2-3 months is outta the question. Guess i'll have to be quick on the phone calls and whatnot.

Sucks trying to find a Black MS3 GT when I have 6500 ready for a downpayment. Even harder trying to find a dealer thats not gonna wanna charge ******* 5000-10000 dollars on a 24000 dollar vehicle. I can see the new GT500 getting marked up with the names "Shelby" and "GT500" on the car but cmon.. this is a 24k mazda??

I know the dealership here in savannah said the next one they were getting was a black GT, and they told me they don't believe in marking up prices... Fairway Mazda in Savannah, might give them a call

I ordered mine a few weeks back and was told it should arrive at my local dealer in the Feb/March time frame of '07. I ordered a True Red GT with Nav and Homelink.....

Ah. I'd settle for any Black GT. I could careless about nav though and would rather not have it unless its free lol.

try m a z d a 3 f o r u m s . c o m . There's alisting of all dealers selling @ or above msrp. Oh a dealer in Columbus has 3 they're trying to unload for msrp.

Just so you know...you can't order a speed car from a dealer that is not speed certified. In other words...it looks like you will have to drive 5+ hours or just buy a used one in few months.

I've got Speed dealers as close as 2 hour drives but, what I said was the closest one that has one IN STOCK is 5+ hours. I would like to at the very least test drive one before I order or tell a dealer i'll slap 1000 down to hold or w/e.

I can understand why they do this. I wouldn't want to spend all the money to buy a new car with 200-300 HARD test drive miles. You know that people test driving them drive the piss out of them. I talked to a buddy of mine about the car and he said there were a ton of kids coming and driving this and then saying that they had to talk to their parents about it. I guess after that the sales manager said that they wouldn't do anymore test drives.

If they won't let me test drive a 24000 dollar car when I show them 6000 dollars in cash money then **** em.

I don't wanna drive the piss outta it. I just wanna take a ride in it and see how comfortable it is compared to my STi. How the ride noise is etc etc. I know its fast already.. every review on it says so.. why should it be any different in person.

If a dealer doesn't let you test drive one especially if you're serious about buying one and you already have money, then don't ever buy a MS3 there.
