It plugs inot the tape port on your stereo so you can connect an auxillary audio device like an ipod or mp3 using the media button. It allows you to keep factory installed sirius.

thats what i was wondering... it for sure lets you keep sat radio plus an aux connection?

Dave yes it plugs into your tape/aux input on the underside of the radio. You sat reciever plugs into the sat input on the back of the radio. I was running both sat radio and the auxmod on my speed6 until a few days ago. If your intrested I have the auxmod up for sale in the FS forum right now...
