Well it rained most of the day, some low or no rain periods. Got to run top down 5 times out of 8. Had to squish down with the top up and my helmet on. Wasn't the best but better than getting soaked.
Went off course once, right at the beginning. Was a cross couse design, little confusing at first. One of the instructors pointed out were and we watched a few cars go thru and on my next run "found" the course.
No great times, best was 1:31 and change. But had great time. Felt bad for the 1st group as the heaviest rain came when our group was doing it's last final runs.
Did not get a chance to try out the new tires, to wet and cold. Maybe on the 17th if it stays dry and hopefully a little warmer.
Been thinking about lowering the rear seat attachments. It would give me another 3/4 to an inch more head room. Seen some people do it for the NC Miata with good results. May try and get some extra seat anchors and get someone to fabricate them. Good winter project.
