Does anybody have this kit?

If you do, did it come with instructions to show you where to ground each wire for optimum performance?

How hard was the install?

Is it worth the money?

Do you have any pics?

Thanks,
Anthony

haha i dont think anyone would buy that for $200+ - chris

i got my grounding kit from craig (1st mp3 in nh), for 83 shipped. right craig? cant remember...in any case, it came in the mail yesterday, but its like 116 here so im waiting until sat morning to install it, ill post pics, it looks very professional.

thats cool, i was just asking, since it is a Autoexe product i thought the company could back it up with some true dyno numbers. But i guess not.
RazorP5, post the pics when you put it on and let us know if there is a difference or not

dyno numbers on a ground kit...? Your kidding right? Btw I have a bridge for sale, anyone intereted?

well i saw some dyno results in super street or whatever mag dynos mods all the time to regular cars, and i think it gave over 5hp to a wrx...but thats a wrx, prolly wont give us s*** in a protege.

sounds like a scam, but the power flows so much better that you actually run more effiently=more power

i mean, ill let everyone know, but i dont expect to gain that much if any on a p5...but i swear i remember 2NR dynoing and getting like 7whp and 5ft lbs...youre right, it does sound to good to be true...but really i got it not expecting a power increase, just to look good in my engine bay, so if i get some power ill be happy. i need to get some new plugs too that everyone says helps but i dont feel like gapping them, and ill have to take it to the garage on post so i can get the spark plug wrench thingy.

ground wire systems are like oil and plugs/wires they "may" give anywhere from a 1hp to 5hp increase in straight dyno numbers but what the driver will feel and what actually happens is better throttle response, smoother accel, and the wire system may or may not help fuel efficiency a little, maybe =)

Anyway as far as pricing goes you can get a HKS replica system which is the circle earth system for like 38 shipped off of ebay, I got the one with blue wire covers.

i sawe a dyno on a NA integra with hp gains of 5whp with ground wires.

Ill be impressed if i see gains, i will be installing my 1st ground kit soon.

if your search for ground wire kit or go to the how-to section there is a how-to on making your own ground wire kit and it has a pictorial with it.

if I ave time later ill post some from one of the other threads, i dont have mine installed yet.

GEO Harlam (spelling?) did a how to on making your own grounding kit.
I also got mine from Craig and he did a extremely good job with the crimps and overall apperance of the kit.
Will also try to install mine today, depending when I get done helping my friend swap his ZC motor into a new CRX body.

yea post pics of the install!!!!
I was reading in either super street or import tuner and they always use grounding wires on there test cars. Most of the time they gain Hp from 1 up all the way to 7 whp!!!!!
But i was just wondering, since Autoexe is one of the biggest companies in Japan for Aftermarket accerssories, they might have actually seen gains with their kit.
