Autocross Prep

Hello all.

Any tips for prepping my 3 for my first autocross? I am going to my first one in April. I am running in the stock class as a novice. I don't plan on winning anything or being competent at all... but did want some advice on basic stuff to do before I go from anyone that has been in my shoes before. Thanks for any info!

Hey! I'll be doing my first autocross in April as well in my 09 MZ3.

What region are you in? It would be good to find whatever forum your local region is on, you can probably ask any specific questions on there to whomever is the head cheese.

Here is the page for the local auto-x region I run with(Cincy SCCA)... there's a nice video explaining auto-x and lots of good info at the bottom, read the "tips from the pros" and the "safety notes" in particular.

I haven't competed yet myself, but I spectated at an event last year and helped out where I could as I tagged along with a Miata driver who lived nearby me.
