Autocross Pictures and Videos

I did the same thing with tape and class markings when I ran the CorkSport 2 in ST. Makes me laugh to think about it too.

I have legit number magnets now :)

Event #4 of my rookie autox season. I think I am finally content with the way the car is set up, which is actually pretty cookie cutter for these cars.
Direzza Z2's 205/50 @36psi front 38psi rear
Bilstein PSS Kit (set to same drop as previous H&R sport springs)
H&R crash bolts ~-2deg
Tri-Point Rear Swaybar -1.5 turns
30amp fuse pulled

Feel free to give me any feedback on my driving or set up. I'm still experimenting with shifting. Shifting down into 1st gear just seems so awkward for me. Also, please ignore the clacking sound. I'm pretty sure it was my tire pressure gauge in the glove box getting thrown around.

Announcer also was poking fun comparing our cars to a smart car. >:|

On the other hand, I am fastest novice 29/88 PAX overall this event, 32/223 PAX overall for the season so far. Not bad for a little novice 2 driver?

Lol yea I yelled at him when I saw in a video that he had his hand out. He'd never been in a car during an autocross run so he was unaware of some of the safety rules.....plus I think I had him scared with my driving =)

I have the same problem of trying to hold on to stay in my seat (even when driving) especially in my 08 leather 3 hatch as it was so slippery in turns.....so....I started the habit of rolling my windows halfway up to stop me from attempting it...Once I got springs on my 2 I didnt need to do it any more as it was pretty flat.

I use a CG-Lock for my seat so I don't move anymore...I used to slam my knee into the door to hold myself and would walk away with a giant bruise. I need to invest in one for the passenger seat to hold them in too lol. I tend to get vicious and my poor passenger can't stay in the seat.

I just recently started trying my hand at autocross (I normally run road courses with a specific group) and I think I've become hooked. Here are a few videos beginning with my first time out to just a few weeks ago. I have some pictures somewhere around here... My goal is to basically figure out the sport and get a lot better at it, but for now, it's definitely fun!

Then here are the rest...

My editing skills are none for these videos, sorry about that. I am using my iPhone and an igloo case to record.

Video from my first autocross in the M, the fastest run I was able to record... battery died too soon and I wasn't able to record my faster runs:

And a few pictures:
