I am an AP fan, but I'm sorry...Goldmember was just not funny...or good. Very mediocre movie. The reused the same jokes, except half-@ssed them. What did you guys think?

I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but I thought the first ten minutes were really funny. The rest wasn't that good.

Yeah, the beginning was funny, and the whole checkup thing was pretty funny too, if not a bit too mindless Oh well, I wasn't expecting anything deep or a plot of any kind, just stupid humour, and that's what I got.

Those 4 minutes seeing Britney looking as bad-ass as I have ever seen was worth it for me...Beyoncee was smokin hot the whole time as well...

And no, im not some crazy horn dog (ok fine, I am)....But with the mediocre movie (wasnt a big fan) I needed Britney and Beyoncee to get me through...

Went with the wife and it was her pick this time....Ugh, never again...

Probably be a decent rental though...The $15 to get in, and the $12 for popcorn and soda sucked (can you tell im not a fan of the movies?)

See, it's things like that which made the movie NOT funny. The mole thing wasn't even amusing the first time to me (although a few people laughed)...but then they dragged it out SO much to the point where it was just plain annoying. Even the on screen characters got annoyed! "Oh, SHUT UP, Austin"

See, that's the thing...I'm even an AP fan. I have the DVD of the 2nd one...I blurt our "Groovy, baby" at random, and I impersonate Dr Evil at least daily. As much as I wanted it to be good, I just have to admit that it wasn't. :-(

My favorite lines was from austins dad talking with mini me.

"you can use it as a kick stand".. Then MiniMe leaned over about
45 degrees then waved his hands in the air.

After he did that I was on the floor laughing my @ss off.....

But I do agree that it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be,
but I never go into a continuing movie thinking it would be better
than the first. Learned my lesson with all the Friday the 13th's,
Friday, Berverly Hills COP and so forth.

well, i guess it depends on what you interpret to be good humor. and they cannot please every viewer out there. i stand by my opinion, and you guys can stand by yours. maybe in the next movie, his shag mobile will be a protege5! yeah!

I've seen it twice by chance and both times I enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was the funniest of the three movies and had some great gags in it.

Aww, no way man. 2 was clearly the best. 3 re-used the jokes and only went half-@ss with them. 2's jokes were actually FUNNY...not like that dumb mole thing that they milked for 15 minutes that WASN'T funny the first time and was less funny the 50th. I just thought it was weak. Given, it's harder to make me laugh than the average person, but I didn't get a good hard laugh out of the whole movie. I want my money back!
