Audiovox 2-way install

How difficult is it to install these things? I've never done an alarm install and Circuit City wants $150+ to do it (and they sell the damn thing). Is there something different about these things that is driving the install up so much?

Any help would be appreciated.

Just the time to hook up a remote starter and alarm. It would take our last SR. installer about 2 hour to knock out the job if he was doing good work but was motivated.

I'm not even getting the remote start function set up. I have a stick.

They charge a flat rate based on the system typicaly. You may be able to get them to adjust the price but if you didn't buy the alarm from them they really have no reason to do that.

To be honest I'm suprised they ever quoted a price for you. Corporate policy, they don't sell or install remote start alarms on sticks, no matter what. If you are wanting the paging capabilities without remote start then you can get the DEI Viper690XVR which they should have in stock.
