audio question

has anybody heard of fusion audio? if so, how are their products? thanks.

I honestly don't know about the quality. Their only US distributer is out in AZ, and I would buy the stuff without hearing it. I looked at their top line components and, while I'm impressed with the magnet size on the mid, the crossover doesn't look too special. They seem like they're alot about flash, but I have no idea regarding SQ. You might want to check the carsound.com forums and see what people are saying about them. And again...I highly recommend auditioning them before purchase.

there is really only 1 or 2 distributors, but i have seen their product installed in an rsx............sounds sweet. as far as quality, i'd say as good as pioneer, but that is my opinion. if you want great quality looks and sound, go with kicker. it's alittle more money, but warranty is awesome and so is the product.

Again...try to audition them. Your ears are the only ones that can decide...not someone else telling you that one brand sounds better than all others. For instance, I could have you listen to $1k Boston Z6s and 300$ JL VRs and you might like the JLs more...a lot of people do, believe it or not!

Fx-40

I don't know a whole lot about fusion products other than reading about a fusion only car online. Some group of student installers tricked it out and apparently it was pretty competitive (don't remember in what class). I purchased their FX-40 EQ and haven't installed yet, but for a $110 purchase, it has more than enough options. Including built in X-overs on front, rear, and sub. Also bumps voltage from 4 to 8 on preouts. My install will be done in about 2 weeks, but until then I won't know what it's like. BTW, their website has great flash, but not really any info.

thanks. yea, i checked their site out and they didnt have the one the guy was telling my brother about. he said it wasnt even really in produstion yet so i have no idea.

If you're going to spend upwards of 400 I strongly recommend the Eclipse head units. I have a 3434 and it whoops ass.
