Audio MP3 web sites???

what site does everyone use to down load mp3's??? i just got a new computer and i wanted to download a program. i had mopheus and napster on my old computer. i like mopheus a lot. Is there a better one????

www.kazaa.com you have to download a program but its just like napster, but you can get mp3s, software, videos, images. and its free. its what i use.

Get on MIRC and make some connections out there with FTP servers. Just look for the MP3 groups out there. They usually have way more content and you can get faster download speeds. If you want to mass download music, FTP is the way to go. Otherwise the peer to peer engines are pretty good to search for individual songs.

yeah my experiences with morpheus have been pretty good. My only complaint is that the sound quality even though it "says" is the best i find is really sub par when compared to that of Napster. ALL the mp3's that i have DL from Napster have been really great just as if you were listening to them from the origingal CD itself. Most of what i DL from Morph, seems to be static filled and really unenjoyable to listen to =(. My only recomendation is to listen to it before it finishes so you can be assured that you will enjoy the quality of music

You can download MIRC from Tucows.com, and if you search on the Web for it you should be able to find the software. That will allow you to join rooms with the Topic MP3 usually meaning that they are trading in there. From there there are two options, 1 there maybe servers available in the IRC channel, or 2 you may be able to connect to a leach server out there, that somebody is running.

Either way it is a good source of music.

Try WinMX. It's like morpheus but it has good quality mp3s. You can also connect to many of the opennap servers.
