looks great! nice pics.. whos is faster :)

Herb Parson's Lake is about 13 miles southwest of where we live; and 9 miles of it is all 'back road' boogie two lane; very windy. He has a tuned exhaust, and the AEM intake; and as you can see, it is lowered. It's probably the cleanest Civic Si, I've seen. Joe takes care of it, and it always looks that good. He is a neighbor of mine, and a friend. He loves what Mazda did.

nice.
is that your friend/family?

Joe is a neighbor, and a good friend. He turned me on to the Meguiar's 3 step system. He knows car care.

I think if he's got on a nice stiff Coilover suspension with all tie/brace/sway bars, and looking at those big 18's? wheels...
he should out handle our cars.

Yeah; those are 18"s, and they look incredible 'live'. A problem he has, is rubbing. He was telling me with both of us in the car, and taking a hard corner, it would rub. I don't know (or remember) exactly what he has done with the suspension; but he strongly recommends I leave mine as it is. Because; you can imagine seeing both cars together, I think; Hey! I need to lower my MAZDASPEED. But, I'm leaving it alone. It's great just like it is.

Given equal drivers; which is the better handler? I don't know. He may be at around 165 + hp with the AEM, but I'm not sure?

I do know; those two cars make nice photos together! (thumb)

holy crap, greg, where did you get that hat?! is it fitted or adjustable? i want an adjustable mazdaspeed hat!!! should i just drop down to the dealer? i havent seen them selling that stuff yet....

WOW that SI is clean. That civic looks sooo nice that it reminds me how great it is to have a car (protege) that not everyone has lookin real nice (civic). That def is one of the nicer civics ive seen, not ricey.

Hey Dex! Actually; I bought the hat the evening I purchased my MAZDASPEED. They had black w/white lettering or silver w/black lettering. About $12.00, I think.

Exactly! Joe has a great 'non-ricey' attitude. It's a gorgeous Civic, for sure.

oops, my mistake. for some reason i thought this was BlackMSP's thread. hee hee

oh, how many miles are left on the car when the fuel light comes on? mine seems to go on when there is a little less than a quarter tank left.

A thread for a Black MSP; indeed. But, not BlackMSP's thread about his Black MSP.

My fuel light comes on when the needle is near the very bottom line. I wouldn't go over 25 miles when it comes on, personally; and that might be pushing it.

looking sharp guys! I still love those SI's ( Si'r's here in Canada ) Heck, I almost bought one when new but I was already in nice car back then

I want a Mazdaspeed hat that color!

And, there's more to a a suspension setup then just slapping the parts onto it. I see this so many times.....oh such and such guy slapped such and such parts on his car so it can out handle anything....bla....bla...bla. Parts don't mean anything if they are: 1. The wrong ones for the car. 2. Not setup or installed properly which is mostly the problem as these guys are do it yourselves type of people with no experience and have no idea as to how to tune it.

So, when I see another done up civic, I don't immediately think...wow! That must out handle anything.

Racing Beat did an exceptional job in tuning the speed. So, as they say, If it ain't broke..... :)

Not saying the guy up above is like it in any way though.

...AGR....don't love your Mazdaspeed no more ??
