I've had some close calls with road debris. A couple years back some idiot didnt tie his s*** down. Boxes of metal body panels fell off the back of his pickup truck and landed right in front of me within seconds on the highway. Bumper and side skirt was scratched to hell.
Another occasion I run over something like a damn muffler at night on the highway. No time to react once it was in my field of vision.
And my dad recently had a VERY CLOSE call with a damn 10ft ladder. He said he saw it once the car in front of him ran over it (at 90mph whoever that was probably bent his rims, bent his struts or lower control arms) then luckily the ladder got repositioned into a position where it was parallel to the lane marks, and he was able to react quick enough so that the ladder only scraped the underbody (without running over it with his wheels)
Seriously people need to tie their s*** down. Jesus christ it's a damn 10ft ladder that could have easily covered two whole lanes.
I've seen a couple people here who've bent their rims, FUBAR'd their bumpers/lips because of road debris that could have easily been prevented if people had more sense. I'm really pissed
