ARGH! F*&KING clear bumper lenses! (NSFW)

Ok ive wasted just about my whole afternoon on these mother fuckers. Ive only started, not even completed the driver's side. I removed the orange stock s***, no problem, i dremmeled a bit to make the RX7 clears fit, no problem, then comes the PAIN IN MY MOTHER ******* GODDAMNED ******* bad ******* CRAP ******* b**** SMACKING COCK SOCKING POLE SMOKING GAY ******* PIECE OF DOOKIE ASS!!!

I tried clear silicone, does it stick? No. What happens is ive got my damn lense taped with high hopes that it will push it far enough against the bumper to stick. Does it? Probably not. I'm on my last nerve hoping that when i go out there in an hour the silicone has dried and i can remove the tape and excess silicone from the bumper that squeezed out and the lens is stuck good. but i know that wont be the case. the lense doesnt sit perfectly flush, on the back side it sticks out about an 1/8 of an inch and looks relatively stupid as of now. i simply dont see this s*** working enough to keep it stuck the **** on there.

if this doesnt work, im driving to goddamned home depot and buying the strongest, most toxic looking super glue and gluing the **** out of it until it stays.

NO! one fuckign bolt that is almost useless as it sit horizontal behind the lense keeping it from falling out the front. BUT its far enough away from the back of the lense/inside bumper so that it does almost nothing but keep it from COMPLETELY falling out.

Well, I am sure that you are exaggerating about the super glue, but there is some clear 3M emblem and trim adhesive that might work as a last resort. I typically don't like s*** glued to my car though, and knowing you, neither do you...

i have no idea, you know why? BECAUSE IVE GOT 8 DIFFERENT KINDS OF ******* TAPE STILL TRYING TO KEEP THE GODDAMNED LENSE CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE BUMPER TO HOPE THAT IT STAYS.

you know what the worst part is? ill prolly go to clean up the excess s*** around the lense and knock it the **** off.

your working in the wrong direction here i think

with my clears i made rubber gaskets to evenly take it off the front bumper instead of trying to make the clears flow with the contour. i know because at first i thought the clears would form right to the body but it did stick out at one side or the other.

the 2 nuts in between are just spacers, not threaded on, but they can be if you want. makes little difference.

yeah i did the same thing with really wide washers then a wingnut to secure it againt the bumper. its been on for 4months no problems

auto door weatherstripping is what i kept reading that most people use, i fabricated my own at work so....

should i get that from autozone or something? it seems to be sticking on, however, sticking out a bit from the back.

uclap i cant see what im looking at. it looks factory, but i dont see a seal or gasket or whatever.
