Are you mad that an SRT-4 (or mp3 turbo) can beat our MSP?

i really dont care cause if the srt4 came 6psi stock out the lot like other forced induction cars it would ony do 15's,i bet if we crank our boost to 14psi we would be as fast as them, anyways i love my msp and it doesnt look cheap plus my boyfriends got my back...hehehehe!!!!!!! i love mazdas!!!!!!!! ill pick any mazda over a dodge!!!!!!!!!

in all honesty I'm just a japanese car nazi, I can barely admit the new tiburons are sweet because it's korean, although they are. I also would never want to own a dodge because my aftermarket parts would come from mopar. I coudl never be proud of mopar, just the image is has, I'm sorry, heh. If I owned a viper, I would probably stick to hennessey and never get near the mopar image, not to mention, really dodge as a quality production company doesn't do too well, even the viper has horribly uncomfortable seats, and the interior sucks and falls apart. Also according to my friend the exhaust burns you all the time, but that's just cause he isn't used to side pipes, haha.
Why put power windows on the back when they only roll 1/2 way down? Anyway..I was just told by a friend to check out a SRT4 thread on a Bimmer forum. The guy raced a SRT4 with a M3, SRT4 had the early advantage but after 3rd gear it was all M3. But the funny thing is, he gave ton's of respect to the great handling and awesome power of the SRT4, funny how the guys driving M3's can be nice and respectful but most of the guys on this board have a hate-on.:wtf:

If you Crank your boost to 14psi, I hope your Boyfriend Does "Got yo Back" Cause you will be needing him to Drive you to and from work as your Motor will be a Molten Pile of Metal Shavings.
I dont know of which FI cars you speak of but most come with more than a measly 6psi.......Ala Diamond Stars/WRX/Colts/Omni's with 10psi.....Course there compression Ratio is actually more set up for a boost application.
Fact is the Neon is pushing more boost.....
So what, You are happy right?????
Thats all that matters......Can we PLEASE stop this???

Why do people hate honda owners, simply they pretend there cars are the best, I feel that this mentality is foolish and we are above that. Be VW, Mazda, Mits, Dodge, Nissan, Acura, honda it doesn't matter most people are here becuase they love there car and want to make it even better. Discusion is always good but in a mature manner is best.
Also keep in mind that the Protege is not build for Turbos. it can't take much. this engine will not sustain the dodges power, EVER! Its not designed to, then next generation 3 will probably be.
If you have a protege and need more power then the Doge to be happy get a new car. This car will need an insane number of upgrades including engine internals and transmission to take it. If you are happy withthe perfomance then don't worry about what dodge offers or any one else. you have a dman nice ride, Enjoy it

Actually; I always considered those silly 'park bench' air foil things 'ricer', not our wings, or even the SRT-4's. But I could be mistaken. Most of this 'ricer' terminology eludes me, since I am 48.
