Are CDN Tire steel wheels hub-centric on a Mazda 5?

Looking at picking up a set of 16" "universal" steel wheels from CDN Tire tomorrow. The part number is X42655, 16" x 6.5", I think. Does anyone know if these are hub-centric on a Mazda 5 and is anyone running them having any issues?

Also looking at a set of the Nordic snows in 205/60/R16. I've been running 16 inch Nordic Ice Tracks on my A4 for five winters with good results.

Canadian Tire steel wheels are lug centric multfits.

VIP Mazda In Abbotsford has some wicked deal on tires and wheels packages. $675/$775/$875 for Firestone Winterforce/BF Goodrich Winter Slalom KSI/Michelin X-Ice Xi2 plus tire levy and taxes, all 205/55R16 mounted and balanced on Mazda OE steel wheels. I opted to go for Toyo Observe G-02 Plus in 205/60R16 (205/55 not available) and it came out to $913 out the door.

Multifit wheels

Did a quick check at Canadian Tire and Wal Mart. Both carry a similar mutli-fit wheel with a centre bore of about 73 mm diameter. The Mazda wheels are 67.1 mm. The Langley dealer wants $85 per wheel for steels. Seems pretty steep to me.

I was hoping to spend under $700 for a set of winter wheels and tires so I'll keep looking for now.

Has anyone used centering rings on steel wheels?

Seems he bought them from Tire-Rack.com, So I'd assume u need them... (RTM)

"4 Required centering ring In Stock N/C N/C "

Good luck!
Peace!(rei)

At the risk of restating an existing thread, I bought steelies and tires fom Walmart this fall.

$83 canadian for winter tires and $60 for rims. $572 + 45 for balancing, 20 levy, and both taxes.

Still less than 700 OTD.

No fitment or vibration problems and no centering rings.

I bought a set of 16" steel wheels from Mazda yesterday. Don't want to take a chance on lug-centric multi-fits. Paid $76.46 each, $305.82 for the set.

Looking at the 205/60/R16 General Altimax at Tire Rack for $70 apiece, $280 plus $50 shipping. Getting pretty close to my $700 target!

The same tires at Canadian Tire are $157 each, with road hazard.

Hey Pyro, are those Tire Rack prices in Can. funds? $50 shipping seems damn cheap!
