so what about using a different MAF?? or do ya reckon thats gonna play havoc with the factory ECU?(even on piggy back?)

hmm do ya reckon its possible the maf has a digital signal?? that would kinda explain crazy voltages.... i'm probably thinking too hard now

OH BOY listen guys,
The MAF is calibrated to "show" a given value when "X" airflow is thru the unit.
THE ECU IS THE PROBLEM!!!!
It needs to see certain parameters.
If it slightly off it will run like s***. Stall and such.
You will need (NOW LISTEN CAREFULLY)
A standalone fuel management system and ignition retard system to run ANY high performance upgrades properly on this vehicle. IT has to be run in Parallel

The piggyback from Modern Performance That i was selling WILL NOT CONTROL the stock unit. That is why we were adding the new MAF.
Trust me, Just convert to a map sensor like the haltech or microtech and be done with it. It is better to have a MAF in a F/I vehicle BUTTTT there isnt Anyone out there that can tune them right. If you spend some time like we did you can do it but every vehicle is different. Since everyone likes running way to rich to begin with then go to a map sensor and save yourselves the headaches

Where do you work perfworks? Modern Performance?
I own my own business. I used to work with them on a few projects. I no longer due to a family death. I left the industry for a while to take care of family matters.
I will continue with my own again soon.
