Apex Exhaust Fitment Problems

Did a bunch of searching and couldn't find anything specific to my problem.
...
Just finished putting it all together and the tip is rubbing up against the bumper. I tried to crank on the hangers a bit but didn't want to go too far. Has anyone else experienced this with the APEX Exhaust. BTW, I got the 3".

I haven't seen that problem with the Apex yet.Worst comes to worst, you go to the local exhaust shop and have then cut the hangers and extend them a little.Should cost next to nothing, maybe 20 bucks, and not take long at all

is the adhesive for the rear fascia holding it up proper?
i've had problems like this that I was usually able to fix by loosening the exhaust bolts, lifting the exhaust then retighting.

if i were you i'd talk to a an exhaust shop or maybe apex.

I got it fixed, thanks for your help.

It was the short straight pipe. I messed up and lined up the oval holes with the round holes. Just had to rotate the shorty.

yeah mine did the same, it actually burnt the bumper a bit. i had to get hangers modified. its all good now. 2.5 and kartboy hangers do the trick.

damn that exhaust is low. That's why im worried to buy one of these premade catback systems. I want to run mine above the rear sway bar (like stock). Im hoping that with an Apex DP and my magnaflow muffler i can just have a local exhaust shop run a pipe from the DP to the Muffler using the stock location as a map....

BUMP for updates and new pics.....I'm thinking about getting same exhaust and would like some updates on this.

I would steer clear, i wonder how long it is gonna take to crack that system. You back out of any driveway and that thing will be scraping...

Its why I decided to order the GReddy SP2 instead. I'm looking forward to that GReddy "growl".

All fixed now

Fitment is right now that i've matched up the "oval" holes tp the oval holes and the "round" holes to the round holes. No directions, which i've told Apex and hope they include in the future.

Any specific questions, let me know

you know i was gonna say that the reason would be that you've got the inlet end of the exhaust too low, and yeah because of the hangers, they weren't made long enough. but the correction looks great! Only in my opinion, its just for looks. But nothing is wrong with that.

rotate the pipe before the muffler pipe i have an apex exaust
and the same thing happend to me. TRUST ME. i sat there in our shop for an hour tring to figure this out its the third pipe. just turn it

I have the same exhaust. I'm at stock height and it scrapes coming up and down steep driveways. I just come up mine at an angle, its worth it. I love the exhaust.

i was wondering if you guys are running the whole apex system dp and cat back. im looking to buy the same system and want to know how you guys like it and if you have any sound for it.

I wouldn't get the catback. The DP seems to be good, but the catback goes under the rear axle, making it extremely low, and prone to scraping even on a stock car. If you're planning to lower your car at all I definitely would not get the apex catback. Sometime in the future hopefully they'll fix the design.
