APEX Aluminum Air Diversion Plate

that thing is over $70,I wish I still worked in sheet metal, that would have only cost about $20 to make.

I know...they were debating on the price and gave me an estimate of anywhere between $40 to $70....so, if $40 was a low end pricing for them, I would suspect that it took roughly $30 for them to make it.

if they sold it for $40-$50,I would be down, but I would rather spend $75 on dinner for my girl and I

waste of money.... plus i put all my tools in that part when i'm working o n my car.

haha! i've done the same, its a nice little tray

I like the way it looks, but it should say Mazda on it

i want to see pics of a production piece to see if they got rid of the gap at the front.

If DG is reading this, make a CF one and I WILL BUY IT!

very sexy! that is what id love to have seein as how im all about engine bay appearance...well, atleast im tryin to get that way. this would be a perfect addition!!! IF the price is right!! if they only offered a sticker in YELLOW, that would ROCK! actually this would be a perfect place for the decals/plates that are bein made for our cars, would look hot there!!

lol.. same here... i remember not being able to find my screwdriver and i popped the hood and it was right there.

I was thinking about getting one made a while back. Now someone is doing it and charging way too much. I might just draw it up in CAD and go to a local fabricator. Its all cuts and bends.....

It wasn't too surprising that Apex would pick the higher end of the estimate. Look at their other prices for the msp.

I believe it'll be more better for others in the long run to get these made in CF instead.

let us know if you figure out anything im not paying that much for the Apex one

The DGM carbon fiber grill acts as an air deflector if you wanted to get that instead. It doesn't reach all the way to the rad support but it is close.

Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents for those wanting it in CF.
