APC seating - anybody have these?

Yeah, yeah, I know APC is not Recaro or Sparco, but these looked like they'd match colors and give some better support than the stockers. Any thoughts? At about $160 each (not including sliders) they're a relative bargain as well.

If they came without the APC logo, they'd be much cooler... :)
I'd sport the gray personally. Then again...after my past experiences with APC, I couldn't trust them to last more than a month.

The old saying "you get what you pay for" would apply to those seats. I'm sure the padding and material wouldn't compare to a Sparco or Recaro.
Not to mention the ridicule you face having APC embroidered in your seats.
Personally, I don't think they're worth the money.

they'll fall apart in 10 days...
If you are looking for semi-decent quality, good looking seats...then I recommend the Corbeau CR1s
CR1_grey.jpg

They retail for about $350 a piece, sliders and brackets depend...just look at their site (www.corbeau.com) to get more info. I have these seats in my Rx7...pretty nice for the cost. I used the Schroth Rallye IV harnesses with it, but you can use your stock seatbelt...

the ractive ones arent bad and they are cheap. i would not recommend tenzo seats, i was happy with mine at first and they are supportive but the material is thin and it fades quick.

Very good point, vodapas....it depends on whether you want/need an adjustable or reclineable seat. That will always cost you more. Fixed or non-reclineable seats are not all that expensive, but I would HIGHLY recommend you find someone with a pair and test them before you order...you may not like the angle the back is set to.
