AP logging vs DH logging

So I know that the AP can log, but what are the differences? Will it log the same parameters as the DH? I'm pretty used to having the DH now and using it to log, but I'll be picking up my AP tomorrow and am wondering if I need the DH anymore.
The AP can clear CEL's to right?

The AP can log and clear CEL's as well, however you will not be able to monitor more than one thing at a time (live). I have both and I use my DH mainly as I can simply see more things at one time and watch them all. Also the DH turns off when you turn the car off and the AP does not, which is annoying as hell to have to unplug it ever single time.

The AP does datalog runs just as well but does not have a nice interface like the DH. You will need to use Excel to make charts and such.
