i took my chrome altezzas apart and painted the inside classic red that matches my car. It looks okay, but I just kept the stockers on. I don't know, it might look good on another color car. Sorry, though, all my pics are deleted. I did have them posted on the forum, but the pics were really crappy because they were scanned from a low quality picture. Do a search if you're really interested.

Just buy a can of Nightshades by VHT and spray on evenly.

Like vaMP5er said, you use Niteshades (order at your local speed shop, around $8/can) to get this effect. However, I used masking tape to make sure none of the lights were covered; even though Niteshades allows light to shine through - I don't want to bother with any police attention. It was a major PITA doing the masking tape as it is a biatch to get the curve of the top part along with the black outline in between. The results, however, are worth it.

Thanks! Those are the Mazda JDM tails fro mCorksport, and I did the striping myself...

Agreed. Unfortunately (really, b/c the damn thing was such a b**** to do) I will have to redo it this summer. It's pretty much faded now. :mad: My side markers are great, no fading at all but it's pretty much gone off my tails. I don't think I did enough coats and/or made it dark enough. (argh)
