Need to change the tranny fluid on the p5. Anyone trying to help? I think I read somewhere that it takes two people on the auto trans to make it easy. I gotta figure out how to get to the filter too. I'm willing to coordinate a date.

I might be able to come out an help you, were your area? An you got a air compressor I got air tools so be much easyer taking off the tranny oil pan..

Time for a junk yard run to find all the other fun stuff you'll need for the swap.
Interior:
clutch pedal and mount
center counsel/shifter/linkage
Under the hood:
Brake resevoir with clutch resevoir and hose
harness for neutral and reverse wiring
*optional LSD

There is probably plenty more to go with it, but this is just off the top of my head.

Evan do you have any of the other parts? And does the tranny need anything? As for the other parts, does it matter what year 2.0 it comes out of? I dont need axles do I? :/

The tranny has a starter but will need the clutch arm thang. I've got a clutch disc and flywheel I can give you as well. I have another set of 2.0l axles I can toss in for a couple bucks more. I'm think you need these manual axles but I'm not positive. I'll check my P5 parts pile when I get home.

I'm running to the JY in the morning to **** a Protege if you want me to snag any parts from it?

If you can pull anything that has to do with a manual swap that'd be awesome. Hopefully not pricey :/ if they have an ECU in it snag that too pretty please! shoot me a text and let me know how much it is before you get everything. I'm down to 15 hours a week at work so cash is tight but I have a feeling my auto is on the way out.

So with all that and the tranny it comes out to about 200. Don't worry about pullin all that, I know it's a b**** lol. But one day if you can go with me that'd be cool. Also how long do you think it would take to do the swap?

If I did the swap, about a month. If you did it, probably a weekend, easy. I'll give you a hand when the times comes to do it.
