If i wanted to get the Kartboy shifter and bushings, how would I go about telling him to thread it so i can keep my stock shift knob? Should i email him ahead of time, or tell him in the special instructions section of the order page?

I dont know if this is true or not but someone told me once that if you shorten the throw of your shifter, from what it is stock, you could over time mess up your syncrows..

I had the kartboy and the b&m and i liked it alot better. I also think that you couldnt beat the quality of the b&m.

installed the kartboy yesterday....extreme change....it really makes shifting easier. A very worthwhile investment. :)

I just ordered the Kartboy Shifter and the Bronze Oil Bushings from Corksport yesterday. I already have the Kartboy shifter bushings but the Bronze Oil ones that Corksport makes go into the shifter not the linkage by the tranny. So the shift should be even smoother... I also got the Stainless Steel Clutch Line as well.

I will post how everything turns out when I install them.

Those cork sport bushings would prob cause alot of vibration tho. Ill just leave mine alone it shifts awsome.

I dont mind a little vibration if it make the shift that much smoother. Plus those bushings self-lubricate as well...(thumb)

hi guys
we now have a shifter for the MSP that lets you keep the stock knob

PS bill why didnt you email me :p

where you working now?

tom

Just for clarification:
If I wanted to keep the stock shifter in the MSP, could I get replacement bushings that will improve the shifting?
If so, which ones do you recommend?
