Anyone successfully install racing seats in an MSP?

I did a search specifically on Corbeau seats and found one person with a P5 (beutiful I might add) that has both the seats and the harnesses but would fitment be the same with a MSP? Sorry for any ignorance but I'm a VW guy that just got a MSP and the only thing I dislike so far is the seats. For the 8th best handling car in the world to have recovered stock Protege seats is rediculous. Oh I'd like to keep the stock seatbelts if possible, had harnesses in my Jetta and although they were great, just not ready to install something like that in my new car. Thanks for any help on this, I have the funds just need to find out what will work and what won't.

How did you use the seat belts? Or are you using harnesses? Have any pictures on how you mounted them? thanks...

i made my own based off of the factory brackets so they would sit the same height and i would sitll have the 2 little knobs on the side to adjust the seat

i am using the factory seatbelts now but i just got some harnesses, just havent installed them yet.
if you scroll down a bit you will see the drivers side seat in my car. it is the red seat.

thanks.. i am about to pull them out and replace them with for of the red ractive seats. i know, ractive, its no sparco or corbeau but they are cheap (especially for me) and i am getting four of them. i have to figure out how to mount the back ones. i think i have an idea on how to but i have to wait until they get here to see if it will work

Ask SOSPEED, he has racing seats in his ride. Don't remember the type, but he has them in there!

Yup thats right.. I got Tenzo R rally seats in my car and love them..

I got Sparco Torino's for my MSP.I put them in for just a day to check fitment and they worked out.You can use the stock belts with them too.They just needed a little fine tuning to make them fit perfect.

Thanks for all the replies. I went to a local tuner shop and decided to go with the A4 in black and black 3pt. harness. I bought the harness today since they only had one of them and it was 79 bucks. I'm gonna pick up the seat later this month, can't wait. Does anyone have any advice as far as install goes? Any roadblocks that are common? Thanks again for advice, I'll post pics when I get the seat.
