Anyone running an upgraded sub off the stock amp?

LOL.. yeah i took out the rack. It took me about 20 minutes and then another 5 to figure out how in the hell to fit that box in the trunk. Finally i wiggled it in there.

easy awnser to the original question. YES! i ran a fusion FEW-15 off of the oem amp and it sounded ******* sweet

Got the 12 in last night. What a huge difference over the POS 8 ohm 8 inch.
The box fits like a glove under the stock amp.
I'll try to post some pics tonight. (lol2)

I am running a Rockford Fosgate rfp2415 15" off the stock amp in the stock location upside down. I used the stock MSP sub mount as a template to make the new enclosure. No over heating issues.

The new box is 2.25 ft^3 and I have no filler in it. The sub is pointed up throught the rear deck and pumps a massive amount of air in tha cab. You can actually feel the A/C get pushed back by your head when the sub hits. (naughty)

I designed the box so that it hangs from stock hangers yet leaves enough room to get the spare tire out if needed without removeing the sub box. I just ran an autox with it and it did great! So I am one happy thumpin' camper. If theres any interest I can post pics.
