Problems? I know Rishie doesn't recommend, but I'm getting
different input from wheel sources. Plan on adding Eibach Pros.

I run 2054017 with a +40 offset no rubbing at all, I have my fenders shaved with a 1.5 inch drop. I'm thinking about going to a 215/35/18 with a +42 offset

If I get eibach springs, what would be the recommanded tire size and offset for the p5 if I wanted a set of 17" rims?

Hey Citizenpro, do you have any pics of your car and the fitment with tires and rims? Post them if you got-em please!!

If I get eibach springs and 17" rims with a 40+ offset with 205/40, will that be a bad setup or will I need to modify anything because I am getting the springs within a weeks or two and the rims soon.

I had that same set-up before i put on coilovers, and everything was fine. I am actually going to shave my fenders tomorrow, because i wanna go lower than where im at. With the Eibach Springs, there wasnt any rubbing unless I was rollin 4 deep and hit a big dip.....overall you should be fine. Rolling your fenders or cutting them will let you have a 2.5" and lower drop with no rubbing on a +40 offset.

Jspec- you might rub, I shaved my fenders just to be safe. try your set up, if it dosen't work, then you've got few choices to make.

Hmm, so i take it you cant go with a very wide tire, huh? I was hoping I could fit some 225/40/17s:confused:

A friend of mine has that set-up with the Eibach springs....its fine.

If I have no lowering springs, etc, will the 205/40/17 be okay? What's offsets do all of you have? I'm getting adr dv8s but need to know the correct offset so they won't scrub. I don't want to have to shave my fenders, etc.

gapeachsp5 - get the +48 offset. you won't have to worry about rubbing and
you can fit the 215/40/17 too. +40 you might rub with a full load and turning.
