Anyone mistake your MSP for something else?

Today I received two compliments on my blue 3.5, which is good except both times I was asked "Is it a Lancer Evo?"

I suppose from the side the MSP and the later incarnations of the Evo *kind of* look similar. But still...must be a glitch in the matrix.

Has anyone mistaken your MSP for another car?

i have been asked multiple time if my car was a WRX and if it was faster then a evo then i broke news to them that it was a MSP and they were amazed a protege looked so nice.. I have a Laser Blue 2003.5

most dunno what it is, and I get crazy stares from people just looking at it, I kinda like it. Today, I was just driving around going over to my sis's apartment and at a stoplight I look over to my right and there is this hot blonde chick staring at me and my car. Then I kinda just drove off, but now that I think about it I should rolled down my window and talked to her.

ive been asked if it was the IS before from a distance in the lot by friends, friends. i dont have a msp but the black always hides the details of the curves and i think the rims look alike in design between the pro's and the is300.

For the most part people think I had it custom painted. Other people also say that I've done a good job fixing up my ride. I like the look on their face when I tell them it is bone stock.

the MSP does look like a EVO. That is a nice complement, but what i think is bad is that the rear lights almost look like a Accent
