Anyone know where to buy the OEM iPod adapter for 08.5+ MS3's?

There's an OEM iPod adapter? My '09 came with just a generic aux input. You know- the standard headphone jack size deal (1/8" ?). Which works fine for me, since I own an antiPod.

Some day I may cave, but for now I refuse to drink the Crapple Kool-Aid. :-)

Yeah, mine came with the AUX input as well, but Id like the steering wheel control of the iPod. I could care less about the ID3 tags at this point.

Here's my entry on the new ipod adapter from another forum...... I tried to update the list here but I've reached the character limit on that post.

Mazda ipod adapter '08+- Due to a change in harness connectors on the '08 HU Mazda released an ipod module compatible only with '08+ models. This module requires the use of an install kit to connect it to the HU. There are two install kits to choose from. One provides a pass-through for OEM sirius, and the other does not. Both cost the same so I don't see much point in getting the one without just in case you want to add it later.
Ipod Module P/N C29179CFZ ~$113.60
Install w/ sirius P/N C9F4V6029 ~$86.40
Install w/o sirius P/N C9F1V6029 ~$86.40

Obviously prices change, but there are the part numbers for you. You need both the ipod module and one of the install kits. As the connector changed the old OEM ipod module, and all of the currently available aftermarket ipod modules will no longer work in '08.5+ models. So basically the only choice for owners of newer 3's is to go with the OEM module as there's nothing else. AFAIK starting in '08.5 the ACI (console input) doesn't get disabled when connecting another module to the HU.... I believe they put a separate plug on the back of the HU for that reason.

Whats in the install kit?

It's basically a cable adapter that plugs the module into the HU.... so I guess it's not really a "kit" in the general sense, however that's what Mazda calls it. There are two different cable, one having a pass-through for sirius.
