I just spoke with one of his NCOs, and his Captain is going to be calling me back here shortly so I can explain the story to him as well..

so at the very least, his unit will KNOW about it.

Thank you Matt, I am glad Matt has these type of connections, becuase I myself never being in the army would never have any Idea on what to do with that. If no one else is going to police the military, then us military people have to step in to defend our own integrity and honor for those who lack it. If it had been me to have done something like this, I'd expect everyone to jump on my back too. Thats what's been wrong here in the past. Not enough people cared or tried to help the other members. All you'd hear was... "oh, that sucks.... hope you get your stuff soon". We as a community are fed up with people getting screwed out of money that we all worked so hard to get. Skip bills here and there, do without eating out so much, skip a family vacation... all for what? Someone to take something we worked so hard to save for? I didnt miss out on some of those things just for someone else to make a profit off it and run. Antoine is right, no need for name calling, but someone needs to take action. Matthew just happens to be that kind of soldier to take up the matter the only way he knows how. By using the chain of command.

In my opinion, there are certain people in this world we hold to higher standards. Those that work in law enforcement, the government, the military or medical profession. If I uphold the law, I expect others to obey it. If you serve your country, then you serve and represent it's people in this country and around the world. If you give care and advice to others, we are expected to accept the confidence in their decisions no matter what the outcome. We all have responsibilities and are expected to be held to higher standards, if you fail on either of these, you are not only acting above the law, but you are breaking it. Not only criminally but morally. If you can't live up to the standards set before you, then you should have never taken the oath that earned you the trust of your people. Period.
