I can't believe the seats haven't been sent yet. For months, I keep seeing this thread, so I finally clicked on it. mrpopnfresh seems like a real nice guy, but this is taking WAY too long.

1. Go to Sears/Home Depot/CostCo/insert store name here.
2. drive around until you see the cardboard recycling container
3. get a couple of boxes for a washing machine or refrigerator
4. SEND THE GODDAMN SEATS!

easy like pie.

he finally e-mailed me and said he was sorry for being away and not having his phone on him ---

Hello, it's been a while since I checked anything online. I don't have my phone on me either. Anyways, I got a call from the UPS store, and now they're telling me that they can't get a box big enough for the seats. I don't know what the hell they're doing! It's just getting me mad that they've had the seats for a week and bearly called me yesterday. I think that was partly my fault because I don't have my phone. Anyways, I had to go pick up the seats, but now I have to get boxes myself. I was told it would be easier to box them lying down. I know my friend that sells Bride seats has boxes, but at the moment he doesn't have any empty ones. He doesn't want to take any of the seats out of the boxes and give me any because then, when a customer looks at the seats and there isn't a box, they might think there's something shady going on. Hopefully the seats fit in the boxes that the bride seats come in. I'll keep you posted on that. I just want to make sure that you can sleep easier at night.

i still offered to drive down and get them --- all he would have to do is give back what i paid for shipping to cover my gas ----


even tho i want the seats -- if he said that it was more of a hassle than he thought and offered my money --- i would probly take it even tho i want the seats -- hehehehe
 
hey at least there's the progress of getting communication started :D (trying to find the sunny side)

you might email him the post from Natey as a suggestion of other options. otherwise ask/tell him to go to a speed shop (I hear they are a bit more prevailent in CA than here in the Midwest ;) ) and they should have a box big enough that they'll prolly just give him...
 
the whole point is, UPS has ******* 8 million left over let alone new boxes they coudl use to build it. either take it to another place or whatever. he lives in anaheim, not in the ******* boondocks. staples, office depot, ups store, wal mart, MBE, ALL ******* SHIP s***. ******* wal mart sometimes even the ups place is open later, since the place is 24hrs.

i had my turbo, my front lip, etc etc ALL shipped by UPS and EACH time they MADE the box custom. to say they dont have a box is ******* bulls***.

hes apologizing for a ******* week of time out of almost what, 8 weeks? **** that s***. he hasnt had his phone but he couldnt have emailed him on his own? he needs someone to call him, or multiple peopel to call him? if hes too ******* busy to get the s*** shipped out in a reasonable amount of time, give him his ******* money back. go into paypal, and click on the refund money button.

now its going to be what 8 more weeks before he can supposedly source a ******* box to ship them? bull-*******-s***.
 
also, staples i know for a FACT charges you 5 dollars plus materials to build the boxes themselves, unless the box is simply TOO BIG, which seems to be not the case here. sometimes, if theyre not busy, i have foudn they wont always charge you (except for boxing and padding)

Spicy -- thanks for looking out but just let him vent -- thats just how it is and i except it --- he is just expressing my inner thoughts that i dont say ---

so for me its refreashing that someone else would see it the way i do --- but i am not as forward ---

if this guy lived in ******* idaho and you never met him you would be upset that a member of this board was jerking around another member.

i simply hate ******* liars. and just like i hate people (some) in the army, generally speaking i would come to their defense unless they were quite obviously wrong (as in this case), so i sort of understand where you are coming from, but this is stupid.

so in this case, we have a guy that after all the bulls*** deadbeat sellers give purchasers when they get pissed off, is afraid to complain and keeps apologizing while this "upstanding" person you know is ******* him over.

im sick of people being afraid to buy or getting screwed because of people like mr popnfresh. if you know him or feel so strongly about me being pissed because for two months he has held this guys ******* money, i suggest you just go back over and lurk on MOCC forums or ******* tell his ass to give the guy his money back...or better yet, get him to bring you the damn seats and ship them FOR him since he obviously cant be ******* bothered.
 
I am looking into this Billy, I have been trying to contact him, it seems you have been waiting a little too long. If you could PM me about what way you paid him, and how much, and any extra info on him. I have been over in the MOCC forum looking for him. But we will get your A money back, or B hopefully the item you paid for. And C some money back for waiting this long and your item, he should just wave the shipping fee and send the money and seats back for not delivering on his word. I am trying my hardest for less and less things like this to happen on my watch.

And matt has every right to be pissed becuase he has been screwed before, and he is just trying to help out his fellow members, so dont bash him becuase he is pissed.

These type of people are like sleeper cells, they can have a high post count and sell things before, then they do something like this so un-expected.
 
My name is not mr popnfresh, I dont have this guys money or seats. I told you awhile back in this thread i dont disagree there is reason to be upset that shipping is taking so long. But this isnt a witch hunt.. he isnt the next 2loww.. And FYI for those who know, I had been ****** over by a member here in the "body braces group buy" incident.. I had to pay ALLL the members back here with my own money about 1 THOUSAND DOLLARS because I gave him the money and he took off with that and the parts. I have been burned sooo bad from this forum before.. but I dont go around trying to preach about it.
Again, I dont disagree that what ricky did was wrong.. but you dont need to get on my case about it because we live in the same state.

I cannot and will not be held accoutable for any or all mazda owners because they live in Ca.
