Anyone Know How/Were to Lube Rear Sliding Doors?

My Mz5 has 58k miles on it, but I don't think the rear sliding doors have ever been lubed in anyway - does anyone know if they need lubrication (I assume they do somewhere) - and if so, where?

Thanks in Advance.

Just spray some white lithium grease. A spray can costs $3-$4. Just don't spray too much of it to avoid gunk build up.

I don't think there's anything to lube. Every time I wash ours and wipe down the door jambs, I press the rag against the bottom roller and slide the door slowly. Living in FL, there's a lot of sand, duh! But the rollers have bearings, so they should be sealed. The rear rollers (where the latch is located) slide in a track that appears to have some lithium grease, but besides cleaning the rollers and tracks, I wouldn't go crazy with grease.

Edit: I've looked through the service manual at the information about the doors, and find no reference or symbol that grease or oil is req'd.

I agree. The rollers look like ceramic (or hard plastic). Just clean off the rails and the track.. putting grease on them would only gather sand. A little friction maybe good also between the track and the rollers so roller will be forced to 'turn' round its bearing. A slippery track might 'encourage' the rollers to slide instead of roll over it.
