Anyone know current pricing on a 5?

Now, they're jerking you around... There's no way that the contract had been cashed that quickly. By now, it's probably been sent out, so that sucks for you. CU's will always beat our banks, unless there's some kind of promotion going on. If you financed with MAC(Mazda American Credit) or Primus(samething) you'll have to wait until 90 days has passed until you can re-fi with USAA without getting a pre-payment penalty. You can try calling your F and I manager directly to see if it's been sent out yet, but considering that Mazda closed the month Monday, I think the chances are slim to none.

I should be getting the payment book soon. I asked the dealer to mail me the gap cancellation paperwork on April 19th. I got my notice that my tags were in on April 21st and called to have them sent to me. DHL dropped off the tags on the 22d, and by the 29th I still didn't have the cancellation. So, on the 29th, I went back to the dealer (at least a 40 mile drive each way) to cancel it, and filled out the paperwork. On May 2d, I got the cancellation paperwork in the mail, and it was postmarked May 1st. I'm not liking the "after the sale" treatment, but I do like the price I paid.

I'll vouch that you got a good deal. Sorry that the treatment after the fact has sucked.

Not your fault, man. I hope it will be over with soon. I got a call yesterday from the bank in Kali that financed it wanting to verify info. I've never had this kind of call before. I'll have to call tomorrow, by the time I woke up today and tried to call, they were gone.

(working nights sucks)
