I have a ver close friend that can get me the gt28rs all day long at $1,200 shipped. i'm just trying to see if anyone want's to join discreet in his elite league. Last time i checked the only other person selling them was essential speed for $1,400. As far as i know it is a direct bolt on but i won't know for sure till this weekend. (wink)

I might be interested. I am waiting for internals before I upgrade the turbo, but I might jump on this since the price is good.

Guess you won't be slo03.5msp anymore, lol.

I too am interested in buying this turbo. But just a few questions. It is direct bolt on in place of the turbo we already have? Also what is the main difference with this turbo there selling? What can I do with this turbo, that I can't do with the one that came stock in my MSP?

Thanks...

^ wow dude,
i dont think u should upgrade if u dont know the basics.......

Wow dude the reason I am asking is because if are cars will hit fuel cut at almost anything above 9psi and are current Garret Turbo can produce somewhere around 15psi. easily. Why get the additional power in this turbo there selling. It's my understanding, wouldn't you want to beef up the rings and retainers? So "dude" I'm just trying to see what the main reasons are for getting this aftermarket turbo?
Again thanks for anyone that can answer this question without the dumb remarks. :)

TheRecruit- You dont know the basics, Not meant to be a flame, but its pretty obvious. Also, there are ways around the fuel cut, and you want to beef up the rods, along with the fuel delivery system to gain more from this turbo.

We have those for $1,150.00 all the time. I am working on the upgrade that includes the s pipe and hoses.

Aren't you guys working on a upgraded T-25 as well?

The point im making is if the turbo we have is already enough, and it's just a matter of doing somethings around the fuel cut, etc... Then why waste the money on the new turbo. That's all im asking, this isn't meant to be a debate. Very simple. Why not put the 1200 towards something else. Also my friend has a speed shop and says with are current configuration, it's highy to do internal work before attempting to put on a bigger turbo. Bigger turbo's spool up slower.
Again anyone who doesn't kust want to debate, please just answer my original question without a debate... Geez lol

the t28 is a better flowing turbo, that can make more power. The point i was making was its a good upgrade for a HEAVILY modified and tuned MSP. But youre right, its not a good mod for an entry level tuner, with a slightly modified MSP.

Agreed.(friday)

Thanks KYRaceFan. That's all I was looking into. Myself I am saving up to do some internal work with the rings and retainers. If that goes well, I may go ahead and look into buying this bigger turbo. :) But KYRaceFan thanks for your input...

this turbo will actually spool up faster than the gt25r turbo it will also flow more volume of air and will run more efficiently than the stock turbo. so due to all of this you can make more power on stock boost levels and the turbo will spool like crazy, but to really take advantage of it you will need to have a stand alone. wouldn't bother doing the rods and pistons because more stress is put on them by the rpms of the engine than on boost pressure. but you have to make sure you tune it well because it will break if you have detonation.
