Anyone installed winter tire on sGT?

215/45-18 narrows down to Michelin X-Ice Xi3 and Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II?

Or do you use a smaller wheel package with different brand of tires?

I did. Bought Tire Rack's last set of 215/45R-18 Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 XL tires. They were on Clearance for $169 and I even got a free Bridgestone Jacket, would have much rather gotten a $60 rebate or something.

i have been considering the Michelins, but after driving in a storm 2 days ago, I may not. I didn't have any issues in the 40 miles I had to go. I may just keep the all seasons on there, and put summer tires on My Traklites as planned

Are you staying with the 18's or going down to 16's?

Vast difference in price given the 2 sizes.

I'm still waiting for my Michelin X-Ice Xi3 tires to arrive at Discount Tire. Been waiting almost 3 weeks now, I think. We've had some serious snow here lately, too. Getting a little annoyed, although the OEM tires are doing better than I expected them to.
