just ordered it from ralleysportdirect for 895 shipped
figure it's MUCH easier with another set of hands, anyone willing
to help in the socal area? i'm willing to drive a bit and pay for
the help. i could just drop it off at a shop but i'd rather work
on my own car and learn something.

(cabpatch)

i shouldn't need a tune until i get the dp+exhaust right? only mods i have now are the cobb sri and hks ssqv

I'm working this Saturday, so that might be out. I'm off next Saturday and could probably come in and do it without any issues. Just have to write a repair order on it for the dealership's insurance, but they don't care too much beyond that.

Anybody know how long it takes to install the FMIC kit?

I am not in socal but I did want to say good luck and have fun with the install. Remember its not really the pipes fault you cant get that 10mm in there to get that clamp tight lol..... anyway an extra set of hands is deffinitley usefull on this one.

i didn't know you could choose polished or grey powdercoat on the cobb fmic, just got an email to pick which one i wanted, hopefully it comes soon, this waiting sucks.

i'll help. we normally do meets in the paramount area on sundays. do you work sundays?
i've installed this fmic as well. it's a nice kit.
timewise, i bet we could have it done in 3-4 hours

damn i asked if the cobb fmic was for off road use only in california, they said it's illegal in california and cancelled my order lol

oh well i was on the fence, i SHOULD use the 900 towards extra car payments...which i think i will now.... :\

i should be paid off by december :) 2yrs 3 mos to pay off a 5yr loan ftw
thanks for all the offers of help everyone, great community we got here.
ill just wait until my cars paid off to really start modding then
