Anddddddddddddddddddddddddd NO, you can have a full exhaust system as long as you have a catalytic converter and a muffler at the end you will pass.

That's not 100% true. I had a catback on my Integra and they originally failed me because "it wasn't the original exhaust". I asked if I failed emissions, they said no. I asked if it was too loud, they said no. I got back to work and called up the main office and complained. The lady I was speaking with made a call to the inspection station and had me drive back to redo the inspection.

2nd time through, the guy wanted to fail me and went into the office to the manager and complained. Eventually he came out, brought my car up and went "You got by this time, but next time you won't be as lucky".

The next time I needed to go, the lady passed me without issue.

I didn't pay for anything. I went to a state inspection station.

I got it passed, and this is exactly why I made a fuss about it. But multiple people at the state inspection stations will fail a car if it's not visually stock whether or not it fails emissions. You can fight it though.

for all you ppl on the bergen/passaic county and closer , there's a meet every tuesday from 8pm and later on RT17 N bound by Lowes , actually ppl stay on starbucks side.
I forgot the location address but I believe its in east Rutherford town so google starbucks on that town and go to the one on RT-17 N .


I've seen a red MS3 with black rims in GARFIELD but never got to know the owner so far .
