I've been around for maybe a week or two... and have come across 2 memebers from Central New York... one in Albany and one in Rome... I myself am located in Rome as well and havn't seen much around.

Just seeing how many and if possible get together

Thanks guys, I thought I was flying "solo" on this one... I wouldn't mind a meet some time this summer some where in 'cuse... ( I like the drive up there)

But I have to think there has to be more out there, I've been spreading the word around to see if we get more to get on the site...(not to many MP's around) but as you guys could see I havn't had much luck.

There's like at least a dozen P5s at my school alone. I know at least one of them is on these forums. Most P5 drivers just bought them because they are crazy cool looking functional cars that are a blast to drive, not for the modding scene. It's not like the Mazdaspeeds where a huge number of them are here.

I agree with your statment... The get together per say is more for a "get to know each other" in the CNY area... I personaly am not modding the engine on mine... I'm going for a more personal look and make it unigue to those in the area for the modding scene as you state. (if any modd's... just basic exterior changes)...so I guess my point to all this is just to have a good time in the up coming summer and to maybe bring out those in the area that don't know about this site or our members in CNY...

e.i....if your driving by and you see a group of MP's... would you wonder ? would you stop by ?...would it bring in more MP's ?
 
Whenever NEPOC has a bunch of cars parked in a parking lot it definitely gets a LOT of attention, probably because of the laser blue, yellow, and orange cars and because people are like "whoa what's that, it's not a civic?"
 
During the summer there was a yellow MSP in town from Florida, but I haven't seen them for a while.

But at least we could get a decent sized caravan to a MTMA or NEPOC meet.

It sounds good to me... we just have to see how many we could get.
 
O.k. I'm taking this one over again, seems we have more here than my other ZZZZzzzZZZZ..post..lol

Newlyack is not on this one but he'll pick up on it... so it seem's we might be getting together in July form the other post...

Now we need dates and c if we could gather as many of us "Mazdas" together...Donny would be around for a bit if I'm correct and I think Kansei's going up to NH to see his family...

Soooo, I know weathers not helping (no wax nor wash) and after my wife's driving my car needs a paint job...lol
