Anyone else have creaking problem with their clutch pedal?

Every time I depress the clutch pedal it makes these creaking noises and it doesn't feel smooth. The noise and worse get worse on cold days.

I took it to the dealer 3 times complaining about this and they said it was normal. Sometimes, it's not too bad and I just feel tiny clicks about the halfway point down.

Does anyone have a perfectly smooth clutch pedal?

yup, mine's perfectly smooth.

Na... mine clicks around the halfway point also... I have 34k miles... still shifts perfect.

Yeah i have it and it drives me crazy, i have to put the window down, turn off the music, heat. But i still drives me nuts

yes... mine did the same... here is the cure...


get some silicone spray, with the little tube... then contort yourself and the can and your arm so you can spray a slight bit on the bushings that the clutch pivots on...

i did this point and anything else i saw connected to the pedal... solved the issue for me.

and yes have stock motor mount.... and the recall was done...

The only squeak during clutch operation is my knee. Or is that my ankle?

i think the clutch is the only thing in my car that doesnt squeak, rattle or creek...
i wish they had done a better job with the fit/ finish of the interior i guess thats whet you get for less than $25,000. i still need to do the hefty bag fix too, hopefully that will help.
as said above i would do the silicone or even teflon lube on all the joints, your not gonna hurt anything to try
