Anyone been ticketed for eyelids?

I'm worried about the legalities of eyelids, the mintblue's in particular. The cops around here are dicks- I got ticketed for parking 30 feet within a stop sign...in front of my own home.

So, has anyone been stopped or ticketed for obtrusive eyelids on the headlights?

eyelids are not illegal
there are no laws that say how much of a headlight you have to have visible, just that they cannot be too bright, and that they cannot flash

however parking within 100ft of a stopsign is one of the first things listed as not to do in the rules of the road book

I was under the impression that ANYTHING that reduces the effectiveness of your headlights is illegal. Putting an opaque piece of plastic/vinyl/carbone fiber in front of your headlights seems like it reduces the effectiveness of your headlights to me, ....

and I admit, I don't refer back to my DMV drivers manual too often. It's common practice around here to paralell park all the way up to a stop sign, continously down the street. Just happened it was on a saturday when many were out and about.

i was thinking of putting vinyl on top of the grill too as well as doing the eyelids, won't teh vinyl wear off or is it permanent, i have a silver p5, so at night when i headlights are on, will the light penetrate thru the eyelids or are they fine?? do u have ur template on the computer that u can send

where the hell do you live? that would pretty much eliminate any street parking in philly.

he lives in the far north yuppy suburbs of chicago, where everyone has a drive way, with an SUV and a Minivan in it. they let their kids run into the street, so when you see the kids, you know not to park there so they dont run into your car. The kids around here actually make pretty efficient speed bumps.. fuct up my suspension...
