Hidilyho neighborinos!

I finally got some time off (today, tomorrow, and most of next week) and I figured it's finally time to install my newly jet-hotted 4-2-1 AWR headers that I've been meaning to install on my p5.

The only thing is, I've never installed headers before...so I was wondering if anybody out there wanted to help! I'll provide food and beer (provided you like food and/or beer) (2thumbs)

I live in Torrington, CT, but I'm willing to travel anywhere within a few hours...we'd just have to let the engine cool down a little before working on it.

Anybody? (thinkbeer

thanks for the pics B! I don't think I have you as a friend on myspace yet...do I?

I wouldn't worry too much about the oil filter, Sean...definitely take it someplace the next time you get your oil changed and make sure they change the oil filter and only hand tighten it when they put it back on. Then you'll be all set!

oh and as for the car, she's running fine! gas mileage sucks while the ecu learns how to drive again. but no CEL and I've driving about 200 miles now. I love the sound and it feels great! now just need an underdrive pulley and flywheel for the low-end power and I'll be all set! :D

Nice pics...I also like that last one.

I feel your pain seanmcsean about the oil filter. Changed oil on the wifey's MPV over the weekend and the mechanic who changed it last really put that SOB on there. Top that off with where it is located and I was uttering some four letter words. lol

Thanks for the compliments!

Sean, don't worry. it was a learning experience, with Mr. Murphy sticking his head into the mix.

Mark, I hope she'll come out to the meets. She pimps the wagon more than I do. lol, she wants me to put some more bass in it. (lol2) i love my wife.

yeah, next oil change I'm giving andy a crack at that filter.. That b**** is coming off hell or high water.

whoever did the last oil change on that car overtorqued the crap out of EVERYTHING.

I had the same problem the first time I changed mine. I was doing my clutch slave cylinder at the same time so I had the right front wheel off, but the filter was on there real tight so I had a filter tool from my days turning wrenches and she popped right off. I put a Fram filter with the sure grip on there and put it on snug, not over tight. Wish I could have made this, looks like you guys had fun.

Suh-weeet!
Lets see a shot of it on in the engine bay!

I don't have any engine shots. Jess took most of the pics, cause I"m really good at breaking things. Maybe Jeff will take a moment to show you his bling!

I'm going to pick up a miata oil filter wrench.. probably worth the $10
