need a good daily driver and really want an MP3, but I guess I'll settle for a MP5 if need be, anybody know of any for sale around the state?

theres a guy on this board craig, who is from NH and I believe he is selling his MP3. His actually has a aftermarket turbo kit on it too, which makes it faster than a mazdaspeed protege....

May I ask what your other car is?

BTW...Craig keeps his car in great shape. A good deal of the kinks in the turbo have been worked out, but there are still some things to be tuned, so you'd have that available if you're interested. Granted he's in NH, but you could do worse...he's pretty much local, and a real cool guy at that!

My other car is a 1989 Mustang, worked over nicely and pushing 300 hp to the rear tires, all work done myself.....great for burn outs and summer drives, but really not the greatest car to make 60 mile round trips to the office everyday and specially not in the winter

NH isn't that far, but not really interested in a overly modded MP3, reliablity is the key here, no offense to craig because I"m sure the turbo is awesome and what not, but if it needs to be tweeked, then I'll have to pass on that one for now

and please don't think that because my other car is a mustang, that I"m a meat head or anything of that nature

so if everyone could keep their eyes open for me, I'd much appreciate it, else I'll be possibly making an MP5 purchase in the next month or so

Other then a water line that annoys me on occasion (my own faut) the car is now a 100% reliable.

Its just the Flyin Protege turbo kit with some basic mods to support it like clutch, flywheel, exhuast.

I can still easily get 25 mpg.

looking to spend at most i guess like 18 k, but if I were spending that much, I'd like to have a car with a warranty, just so that I don't have to tinker with both my toy car and my daily driver too

personal preference but I just got a commuter/winter car and i found a killer deal on a 99 Impreza RS. AWD, 165hp 166tq, subaru reliability

for 15-18k you could get a 2000-2001 with low miles

Wont be QUITE as fun as a p5, nor is it quite as good looking, but it will kill the p5 in the winter
