been makin this box for bout a week now, for my sub and the area next to it is an amp rack. im probably one gonna use this only for car shows n stuff tho cause it weighs 40 lbs. (no amp or sub) im thinking of making a smaller box for just my sub in the drivers side corner of my trunk. feedback??

Interesting design, but definitely curious to see what the final product will look like.
Keep it up :)

Looks like a great start. Not to be nitpicky, but it does seem like a lot of dead space between the trunk floor and sub/amp from the angle of the second picture. If you were to put some sort of design in that area, I really think it would look like a smoother transition from sub-box-trunk.

already on top of it, im makin like a cover for it so where it mounts flush to the sides and floor of my trunk. well thats wut i was gonna do if i didnt scrap it. it was getting to be WAY to big so im gonna start a new one when i get paid. im just going to make a sub box so it fits in the passenger side of my trunk. just stay tuned, i'll keep everyone posted

**Update**

almost finished with my "smaller" box. weighs A LOT less than my first one and i still keep a lotta trunk space. I will be preping it for paint now, n i've heard thats the hardest part so wish me luck

Looks pretty sweet so far. Why'd you pick that corner over the driver's side? Is it going to be removeable so you can access the jack if you need it?

yea i really didnt think about the jack thing until after the mold was down. a few more layers of glass and then finish work for paint. im thinking pikachu yellow... lol it will be removable though.

awesome man

thats freaking awesome, so when are you gonna start taking orders for custom boxes :P cause that would look sexy in my car

Great job! I definately think that looks better than what you had in mind originally. Especially the weight savings and removability.
