Anybody interested in the JDM tail light?

I'm heading back to Taiwan next week. I was just "curious" how many people would be interested in the JDM tail light? Reason I'm asking because the Protege in Taiwan has the same tail lights as the Japanese Protege (3 stripes), and I could "probably" find some dealer that sells them or find some in the junk yard. However, keep in mind that this is not a set decision, because I need to find out if they will fit on US P5 (They should) and how the wiring harness work. Additionally, the shipment to US, how much US custom will charge my ass for a shipment. Anyway, I'm just getting an idea to see how many people are interested, and if it's worth of my time looking. If it goes thru smoothly and the charge is reasonable, the price is probably around $150 (Resonable?). It is still 50 bucks less than what they sell here. :>

I actually can't give you any answer until I get back to tw and start looking. If I do able to find some, I will post update information on them.

Also, anybody can confirm if they're legal or illegal? Such as documents saying they're illegal?

the wireharness will not work.. your will need to use caulking or something to hold them in unless u get the harnesses from there and u do some splicing -=)

I was talking to a friend of mine just the other day about front and rear bulb colors. He is a county sheriff, pulled out the book they use and it stated only the front turn markers have to be orange rears can be orange or red.

So, I have "possible" 8 buyers. Anymore? I'm gonna call up a friend of mine that does international shipments, see maybe I can possibily get away from paying the custom taxes, easier for you guys as well. :>

Also, I talked to one of the person in tw, he said someone bought a tailight from tw before, the difference was that we have 4 wires and they only needed 3. Though, I will double check on that and make sure they WILL work on our car, so you guys dont' get rip off.

P.S. Keep in mind that the price "will" probably be around $150 for a set w/o shipping. Though, I will look into it and try to give you guys the best price I can get.

civic coupes don't have any amber in the tails, right? those are legal. tons of cars, (most GM's come to mind) for that matter, don't have orange..... am i missing something?

I got the wiring diagram for our taillights. Once I get back to tw, I will start looking to find some mechanics see if they will work. (Too complicated for me). -_-
