Anybody done a nice install of an iPod dock in a Protege

Hello There

I'm coming from the old school here and haven't had much to do with cars for the last 5 years so I am sure this is old hat now. My P5 has been in storage for the last 5 years and I have been away doing other things.

Looking for some ideas on a nice clean way to integrate an ipod dock into the dash or ashtray of the P5 so I can hook it up to the Alpine CDA-9815 installed in the car. Anyone got links to info showing where this has been done. I don't like the idea of a cigarette lighter plug in thingy as I think it look a bit clunky and I like tinkering on the car so modifying something to fit and integrating it into the car appeals to me a bit more.

Any help or words of advice would be appreciated.

That is pretty sweet actually.
