Any work around for setting navigation while in motion? (2012 model, 6 speed)

Has there been any work arounds for the lack of being able to set navigation destinations while in motion?

I never encountered this before and makes it a PITA when looking for something.

Still getting adjusted to the car after coming from a BMW M3 , but it's growing on me.
