I curbed my front right one, although scraped, it is not as noticeable from a distance and it is close to the tire. Any way of fixing it, or do you have to get a professional to do it? (smash) Damn this sucks!

Yeah it sucks. I was on a date when it happened. I felt so stupid! The side walk was only 1-2 inches high so if any thing at least it didn't scrape to high up.

If you do end up having to let a pro do it, you may just want to look into getting a new one, probably cheaper.

It's on the outer rims close to the tires and not on the "spokes," So perhaps I could sand it and paint it, but is there a certain paint I should use or some one can recommend?

um wouldnt try to sand it cuz the paint is special thats wat some retailer for a rim shop said he said the paint was a special paint that was only made in japan n could b shipped but would b expensive as hell so im not sure if hes tellin the truth but im thinkin about repaintin mine white cuz mine r so screwed up i had to get them welded in buy some guy who did the most crapest job n they ALL looks screwed up wtf...

I curbed one of my rims bad last week in the rain. The whole lip was thrashed bad..really bad. So I went to this place in the Bronx NYC-Dunn Sport- and they fixed that rim and one of my other rims with with very light curbage. The total cost was $150.00 to fix them both. And they look 100x better then before. Anyone in the NYC area check them out. You can find them in the Special interest paper, in the classified section. I think I am gonna take my stock MP3 rims to get fixed as well. And then have 2 mint set of wheels.

They are aluminum rims, it is noticeable, but there has to be a paint that can disguise the damage! I'll post pics as soon as my parents get DSL back up. I use their computer at their house since I am too poor for any thing better than 56K.

Check the wty also. I've seen an advert or two that say free curb damage repair. I don't remember which brand though.

I bought them used. I emailed tirerack, but they were of no help whatsoever. I found that tutorial, but you can only get the touch up stuff in Japan (wtf?) So for now, I guess I will be living with it for a while.
