white balance is interesting. intentional?
I have never set it and I took a few pictures and I liked the outcome so I left it.
we had this discussion about a pic I shot a few months ago... lemme see if I can find the demo pic.The camera is always going to take a photo of the scene the way that it looked unless you mess with the white balance. The reason to correct for the white balance after is because, while it might look cool to you, to the rest of us, it just looks like a yellow picture of a silver speed6.
Also, The lights Kind of add to the effect they were a real yellow color. I think it was mostly the lights out put more than anything cause thats what it looked like in person when the car was parked there, but then again im still learning to use my camera.
if you want it to be a better pic, the general consensus is yes.So, i would adjust the white balance to take the yellow look out of it even though that is the way it looked in person?
I must have been under the wrong impression then. I thought it was to capture the car in its surroundings, and in this case the lights gave off a yellow effect so I went with it. Lol you all are too technical everyone else I have shown loves it.
