Any photographers in here?

The 85 f/1.8 is the same money as the 50 f/1.4... it's just a question of 1, enough room to work with, and 2, is the extra stop of light important.

Yeah, the 50mm is more on my list than the 85mm for what I usually shoot. 50mm is such a good distance for photos...
 
50mm = 80mm when converted to a full frame view. 85mm is considered the "ideal" focal length for portraits. That's why the 50mm works so well on a crop frame body.

that first pic is pretty good EDM6, the send 2 the car kinda gets lost... with everything going on. it'd be better without the shadows on the car, but you can't always control everything! lol
 
my first PS result... I may have gone overboard... I now have about 4x to learn than I did yesterday when it was just the camera... BAH!
