Lol, I went and took some more shots and My GFs comp does not read RAW files so ill have to take it home to my place where i have photoshop.

One suggestion...get down low to the subjects you are shooting. Go to their level. Like cars, babies, plants ..etc...get down on one knee and take the picture.
every rule can be broken...You can use a flash to fill them in a bit too.

Good perspective, but watch your background. The vette and the house are kind of distracting. Same goes for the lighting. Obviously it is in the shadows, but the sun is shinning quite brightly. The eye almost instantly jumps to the brighter areas of the picture and not the intended subject. Use the sun to your advantage and not a distraction.
To add to that, check your focus point too. I like the idea, but I think if you stepped back and used a longer lens, it might work better. In terms of the focus, the camera is focused on your rear wheel, but I'm thinking the intended focus was the front wheel??
